We stayed over the bank holiday weekend and had a lovely stay.
On arrival to our room we found the bath dirty but once I contacted reception this was cleaned within minutes which was very good.
The hotel rooms are a bit dates and I did feel it was expensive at £384 for two nights but we did have a family room and the hotel is central location with free car parking so I guess this is why you pay a premium.
My little boy fell poorly before we left for our weekend and need antibiotics, the staff were very accommodating and kept it in the fridge for us. The Lounge is lovely and we enjoyed tea and cakes in the afternoon which were delicious.
We travelled with grandparents so we managed to seek out for a few drinks in the bar on an evening, the gin selection is great! Bar staff very friendly which is nice.
Nice selection at breakfast time and plenty to choose from.
We did venture into the pool but I felt this area let's the hotel down as there was dirt in the pool and it needs some updating.
All in all nice stay but I feel what makes this hotel is the excellent staff members.More
