Stayed here for two nights, having seen the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. Had initially tried to get a special deal on the family rooms in the national chains, but had left it too late, and with 7 in our party, were keen to get a good deal on two rooms, including the family room, without having to compromise on standards. From the initial booking phone call to Allison, through to the actual stay, nothing was too much for Mark and Allison. The guest house is warm, friendly and clean, and the family room was just big enough to take all five from one part of our group. The two girls in the twin room had a great room.
The beds are a big plus, so soft, with crisp clean sheets, and I don't know how they got the room temperature so right. It was a cold March night, and the room was warm, but not so hot that we had to turn off the radiators or open windows.
Breakfast was ready at the time we agreed, and was just what you want from an English breakfast, with plenty of cereal, fruit and juice, as well as a choice of cooked options.
The teenage boys enjoyed the games room, although they didn't quite get the hang of snooker - they only know how to play pool, so played that instead!
Great location, good access to facilities and the beach, but then you have probably already read that in the previous reviews...
