“A good wet weather venue”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2014

Found this venue searching for wet weather activities with children (ages 6 & 3). Reasonably prices with very welcoming staff. The rides were good with smaller rides for youngsters, which are free. Lots to see and hear and the coffee and scones were great. I can thoroughly recommend this venue whatever the weather.

“An excellent way to spend 2 or 3 hours”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2014

I only found about this place by accident but I am glad that I did. It has a fantastic collection of restored historical fairground rides. There are also a number of cars and bikes on display as well as fairground and Wurlitzer organs. For the dancers there is a dance floor and someone playing a Wurlitzer too (quite a few people were using it on the day I visited). This place is well worth a visit on any day. I choose to visit on a rainy day and I am glad that I did. It appears many local people do not know that this place exists which is a real shame indeed. It deserves more recognition.

“Step Back in Time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

Second time of visiting and this time I took my grand-daughter who would have happily spent the whole day going on the rides.

A time when fairgrounds were fun places and music was played on orchestral machines using punch cards - FANTASTIC.

“Great for a rainy day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014 via mobile

We came here after having 2 rainy days in Scarborough, so stopped off on way home. It was really good to see all the old 1930 rides etc and the kids thought it fab as they could go on about 4 or 5 of them but found you had to wait for them as all timed quarter or half past to the hour. There is a nice cafe that does proper sandwiches etc, nice after eating fish n chips!! Nice little play area whilst you sat having a coffee etc.
