This cottage is part of North end Farm and is right next to the Guest House, owned by the same people. We stayed at this cottage in September for 3 nights. The cottage is advertised as being able to accommodate up to 6 people. We were a group of 4. The plumbing/water pressure was abysmal. Whilst there is one bathroom and one en suite, only one person at a time could wash or shower as the water pressure was so bad. If a hot tap was run elsewhere in the property, the shower ran cold! When you flush the toilet you had to wait to wash your hands as the water only tricked out of the taps until the toilet stopped flushing. The area allocated for kitchen, dining and lounge area could be easily paced out by just over 3 paces in one direction and just over 5 paces in the other direction. There were two 2seater sofas, so It was possible to sit 6! There was a drop leaf table with four fold up chairs inside the table to use for dining. Again. How can six dine? Well that is if you could be bothered to push one of the sofas as far as it could go towards the fireplace, then the table could be opened up, but still it was cramped in that people were sitting back to back with either kitchen units or the sofa which had been moved! Hemmed in on all sides.
The owners were aware of the water pressure problems as this was pointed out to us on arrival, so why had they not done anything about it?
