“Beautiful building with great dinosaurs!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014

Loved the architecture of the building - the library at the top is wonderful to see. My young daughter loved the dinosaurs. It's small. Don't expect too much. But it's certainly worth a visit if you are nearby.

“Small museum more suited to adults”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2014

This is a small museum, just two floors and doesn't take that long to go round, however since it's only £3 for an adult and free for children, which then gives you a year's access, it's good value. The museum focuses on fossils, geology and dinosaurs so won't interest everyone. The exhibits are well displayed and interesting but there is little to keep a child's interest such as interactive displays especially if they can't be bothered to read the display information.

“What a delight - not to be missed!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

This is a wonderful little character building, housing all sorts of interesting geological and fossil items, in original beautiful wooden and glass cases.
Not to be missed.

“Better for Adults”

Nice wee Museum, lovely building but didn't hold my kids attention for long. Great price if you are local, £3 for year! Afraid my kids not impressed by it all, Staff very helpful.
