I travelled with my mum and sisters, but was also very well equipped for families with children. Lovely house and setting, quiet village not too far from anywhere. House had everything you needed, lots of space and large garden.

“A wonderful Gem”

Pasture House is a beautiful house with acres of room, everything you could need and tastefully decorated throughout. The garden is an absolute joy, packed with delightful cottage garden plants and a large lawn for games. A brick built gazebo at the end of the garden provides even more outdoor/indoor space. The purpose built BBQ was in great demand. The Anvil Arms, providing a friendly face and home cooked fare was a mere 100 yards away boasting a pool table which was also popular. You could take the scenic route back via the duck pond or visit the local church.

This house is not within walking distance to anywhere really but that is it's beauty.....you can get to anywhere via taxi or car... or just stay in this very nice little village with a shop , duck pond and a pub that serves food...maybe this is all you need...we had a really nice time the weekend me and my family stayed here...it is like a home from home...very spacious...two bathrooms three toilets...all you need to take is yourself and the food you need everything else is there from the washer to the loo roll... don't look elsewhere stay here :o)

Reviewed 29 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed for the Easter weekend, we couldn't ask for anything more having three teenage lads the two large lounges were ideal , plenty of room, the kitchen was well equipped, good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Set in a lovely quaint little village, we enjoyed visiting Scarborough, Whitby and Heartbeat Country Goathland very enjoyable .

Thanks

“A perfect house for a large family group.”
Reviewed 1 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Pasture House is really lovely - a delight to stay in! It is large and clean, beautifully furnished without being at all fussy and has everything you will need including loads of kitchen stuff. The two double bedrooms are huge, the twin and single are fine. There are two lounges which was perfect for us as our teenage sons could be watching television in one while we were chatting or even watching something different in the other. The kitchen is very large and excellently laid out and has a table for 4 at one end, then there's a separate dining room with plenty of space for the 7 of us. The Anvil pub in the village is very friendly but check out the food arrangemens by ringing before you go as they do specific things on specific nights (and often only early on). We went to the Monday family night and had excellent food all round. The nearest shop is about 5 miles away so come prepared then relax in this excellent property!

Plenty of space, well equipped and a large garden. Both a great place for a quiet break and a good location for exploring the wolds, the coastline and the north York moors. Also check out the village church, pub and duck pond!

Will return.
