Don't say I didn't warn you. It needs knocking down and building again. We stayed here unfortunately for the bank holiday. God help Britania hotels 'Pontins' btw who purchased this hotel in January. The room we stayed in cost us £79! and to say the least was depressing especially as you can't even open the windows. I felt like my skin was crawling all night in bed. The view was of scaffolding to a courtyard. Part of a 70s hair dryer is stuck on the bathroom wall, no use whatsoever. Our parents stayed in a sea view room. The bath had deep scratches in it as though it had been painted. The receptionist did what she could with the many people that were complaining. We overheard one couple who had a voucher that would not be accepted and another at breakfast that there was no teapot on the table and they were only allowed one cup of tea another who paid £48 for the same room as ours! but as far as i am concerned they still paid too much! You have to pay for the hotel car park at around £7 a day. There was duck tape on the stairs, walls were damaged and plaster falling off. The following morning the sheets for next guests were thrown on the floor outside our room (probably explains the itching. Don't bother sleeping btw because if it isn't the noise of the...More
