“A Very Good Breakfast”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

Went here when in Scarborough for breakfast and it was fab. The breakfast was £6.35 which was very good value. I don't like eggs but that was no problem and an extra rasher of bacon was offered which was good. The breakfast consisted of Bacon, Sausage, Beans, Mushroom Hash Browns (2) Fresh Tomato and an Egg and 2 slices of buttered toast. It was cooked for us fresh. We followed this was a latte at £1.80 and again very nice. The service was lovely and all the staff looked smart in their uniform. The restaurant is bright and comfortable and very clean, tables cleared immediately customers left. It was great looking at the sea while enjoying breakfast. Definitely recommend.

“Nice comfortable booths”
Reviewed 11 January 2014

Visited on a lunchtime and although it was quiet, Farrers was quick and efficient. There were seven of us and the food was served quickly, with nice presentation and average priced at about a fiver for a panini with chips and salad. Lime and soda was very overpriced at nearly £2 when we quite often only pay about £1 and did have to ask for a stirrer as the lady did not stir it. The booths are lovely and the place is decorated nicely in pink and green tartan check. Will be lovely in the summer.

“First time at Farrers.”
Reviewed 4 November 2013 via mobile

Took my family here and was pleasantly surprised. A spacious, clean, bright place overlooking the sea, a great location. The menu is varied and caters for lite bites or something more substantial. We just had drinks, although my daughter was tempted by a fish finger sandwich which was fresh fish goujons, non of the cheap supermarket stuff. It looked really nice and came with a salad, very reasonably priced as well. The waiters and staff were friendly and it wasn't busy so we were served straight away and the food came in good time. We'll definitely go back, it's just what the south side needed down on the sea front.

“POOR SERVICE FOOD POOR”
Reviewed 19 October 2013

Went for the first time to this restaurant on Friday generally go to Spa Café but it was closed sadly. The bar was nearly empty when we arrived and ordered our meal counted one more table waiting to be served we couldn't believe how long it took to get two fish finger sandwiches I think the chef must have been on a go slow mistake made on order no chips but could have waited for some to be cooked no thanks. The sandwiches were nothing special at all very dissapointed. My advice is go to the original café for nice food and good service at a reasonable price.
