Last weekend our party of 18 people stayed at The Stuart House Hotel. We were made to feel very welcome, Andy Helen & Irene couldn't do enough for us & made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms are spotless, very good breakfast & great location. Thankyou so much for making my Birthday so special!

We stayed for a long weekend with friends.
Hosts Andy and Helen very friendly, everyone commented that the rooms were nice and clean and comfortable, breakfast was plentiful with good choice.
The location was good for us with the town and promenade both in walking distance.

Would happily recommend.

Room Tip: All rooms were apparently very good second or third floor front rooms for a good sea view.

Excellent place to stay. The room (we were in room two) was spotless with an excellent view. The beds were comfy and the linen good quality. Breakfast was excellent , plenty of choice and when my two year old decided she would rather explore and do what she wanted, Andy the owner was on hand with crayons and colouring books. The location was excellent 10 mins from the lovely North Bay and 10 mins from the busier South Bay. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Keep up the good work.

Room Tip: All sea facing rooms have spectacular views of the North Bay

Excellent hotel will be recommending it to anyone staying in Scarborough.
This Family run establishment was very friendly, the breakfast was top notch and the whole family ensured our stay was five star.

It was many years since my husband & I had visited Scarborough for a holiday, [our courting days in 1965 !! ] until 30th September 2013. On this visit, we discovered parts of Scarborough , which we had never seen before and that was partly due to all the information given to us by Andy & Helen. It was just great !! The word 'lovely' is used so much, to describe so many things, but as I wrote in the Visitor's Book :- It was a lovely holiday, in a lovley room, with a lovely view, looked after by lovely people, who felt like friends, who gave us lovely hospitality and we enjoyed every lovley 'piping hot' breakfast !! Thank you Helen, Andy and family. Hoping to visit you all at the 'Stuart House Hotel' again. Val & Harry. Durham

Room Tip: Wherever we visit in the world, if it is on the coast and if at all possible, we like to have a seaview room as we feel it adds to our holiday. Our room, with a bay window, on the second floor of the Stuart House Hotel was no exception. It was great ! So relaxing to enjoy a hot chocolate or a cup of tea !! sitting in a comfortable chair, looking out over the sea and Marine Drive.
