A wonderful relaxing winter weekend break,(and winter break it was with heavy snow) clean tidy hotel with great food and helpful staff, would recommend this hotel to any one.Great quiet location, a very short walk to the North Bay seafront and town centre easily reached.

We had our afternoon wedding reception at this Hotel and can only give it the highest of praise. The front of house areas (and rooms) are spotless. The staff were extremely helpful and food was out of this world. We stayed the night in the Marsden suite and found it extremely comfortable. Our relatives also stayed here and all commented how pleasant their stay was. Further praise for the food as if it was needed is that we have since returned a number of times for Sunday Lunch and the experience is always as good as the last time.

We have stayed at Park Manor three or four times now and have always had a very enjoyable stay. The staff are always frendly and helpful even the cleaning staff who will have a little chat. The menu has lots of choice but they go out of their way to find something if you do not like what is on for that meal. We have always found the hotel to be clean and tidy.

This is an extrememly well run hotel.
The manageress couldn't do enough to help us with a lively 2 year old.
All the young staff were courteous and quietly went about their work.
As we stayed only 1 night, the spa being out of order didn't distress me too much!!

Well done Park Manor for good teamship.

Me and my partner came here as a last minute break as it was a bank holiday weekend. Staff on arrival and departure were superb, and the morning breakfast was exellent.
My only fault was the room we had was not big enough to swing a cat, the light on our hallway was not working and when coming back at night we had to get the light on our phones to see the key hole.

It was also very cold in our room and on trying the radiator it did not work and as it was very windy and raining outside i think we felt that a bit more through the windows as we were on the side of the hotel.

I also used the swimming pool here and jacuzzi of which was really nice and what was expected., so will deffinately reccomend a nice swim before or after breakfast.

I will visit this hotel again but make sure we get a larger room. I would also reccomend the biscuits on sale at reception that are made at the hotel as me and my partner bought some for our mothers and they told us they were they best they had ever tasted.

I will look forward to staying here again in the future.

Adam & Amanda.

We hate to hear complaints , but it would be a very unusual business if we never got any , unfortunately with regard to the heating I wish you had brought it to our attention then we could have immediately rectified this . We do have a couple of smaller rooms, although all have the same facilities , but the size is reflected in the price.
I am pleased you enjoyed the facilities in the hotel and that the staff were at there usual best.
What can I say about the shortbread it is delicious all our desserts and confectionery are home made yummy !!!

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Park Manor.
Our room was Super we stayed in the Glen Suite, spottlessly clean and quiet. A Advantage too if you like Ground Floor rooms this is on the Ground Floor.
The Breakfast was very good and also Evening Meal food we found to be excellent. The service from all the Restraunt staff was very efficient.
The only fault I could find was, and as someone who works in the Service Industry , dealing with the General Public and welcoming People I felt the young man on the desk did not have this skill at all.
He barely looked up at us, therefore no eye contact what so ever.
A warm Welcome I feel is very important.
When we checked out it was someone different and she was very good.
A great stay and would return.

We've been going to the Park Manor for a number of years now and always feel comfortable there. However compared to other Hotels we've stayed in, the following comments are now valid.
This time we had a front facing twin room, and the first problem was lack of storage especially for clothes. The storage comprised one single wardrobe crammed between the wall and one of the beds. It was so tight that you struggled to open and especially close the drawers. That was it for two people.
The tv is now too small (and too high) such that from the beds you struggled to see it. If you tried to watch it from anywhere else you ended up with a stiff neck, also the remote worked when it felt like it.
The bathroom shelf was filthy and I cleaned it with a wet paper towel. It hadn't got like that in one week. Also I don't think that it's very hygienic having a carpet around the toilet area. The toilet seat was loose and easily tightened by me.
Generally the room was ok but much in need now of refurbishment/modernising.
Regarding the food, there was a problem on one night. The beef was tender but dry. The sliced potatoes were hard and also dry, and the vegetables were minimal. Regarding the pudding, it was supposed to be a banana pancake, but it actually was a small banana with a blackening centre all the way through and about a quarter of it almost completely black. The pancake comprised several square inches wrapped around the centre of the banana.
The staff as always were friendly and helpful.
Despite these comments, we may well come back again to the PM.

Thank you very much for posting your review,of course we do not always get everything spot on and I greatly value your comments.
I will personally look into the areas you mentioned and speak to the relevant departments.
All i can do for you is apologize that your stay was not up to the usual Park Manor standards and hope it doesn't deter you from visiting us again .
