Thank you so much to the lovely staff at the Weston.
We have just returned having spent the New Year
there and have had a really great time.
We were a party of 10 and we all agree it was fantastic
value for money.
Food and entertainment were excellent, and although
our room overlooking the bay was a little tired, it was spotlessly
clean, warm and comfortable.
The hotel was closing as we left after breakfast and was about
to undergo a complete refurbishment to the dining room and reception
area.
Wishing the Weston and its owners all good luck for the future, we will
definitely be back to visit you again. Helen B.

My husband and I would like to thank everyone for a wonderful Christmas holiday at the Weston hotel. This was our second visit to the hotel but our first Christmas away, and everyone makes you so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food and service, the Christmas package was outstanding. It was lovely to meet so many lovely people, guests and staff. We will be back there in 2014. Good luck and keep up the good work.

I have just returned from a 3 day Christmas Break at the Weston with my husband, my parents and my mother in law, and we all had a wonderful relaxing time. The staff are very friendly and helpful as are the owners of the hotel, nothing was too much trouble and there were some lovely little festive treats. The food was plentiful and delicious, well done to the chefs for their hard work over the Christmas period. One of our rooms had been refurbished to a high standard, and the other 2 rooms were a little tired but comfortable still, with fabulous views of the south bay. The guests were mainly senior citizens and the entertainment was excellent for the age group, a funny comedian who sang well and a former member of the Tornados who sang great rock and roll songs from the 50s and 60s. Lots of board games were available in the comfortable lounge. Thanks to The Weston for an excellent Christmas.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful Christmas three night break at the Weston. Our room No. 26 although small & rear facing with a view to Olivers Mount was warm, very comfortable & refurbished to a very high standard. Only a shower but no bath was no problem for us.
Management & Staff were superb, genuinely friendly making the whole stay that much more personal. Comfortable & inviting lounge & bar which we understand will be refurbished in the next couple of months. Lovely dining room with wonderful views and very good quality & plentiful food with lots of thoughtful little extras. We had a marvellous Xmas, in pleasant company & warm & comfortable surroundings...Many thanks to all at The Weston, we look forward to our next visit.

We decided to spend a few days in Scarborough and Whitby for our first wedding anniversary. Having never stayed in Scarborough, the reviews of this Hotel made the accommodation choice so much easier. After a 3 night stay, we cannot believe this Hotel is only a 2 Star rating, as we could not have chosen a better place. Warm and friendly service, lovely selection of food (especially at breakfast!), nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Our room was slightly basic and had not been refurbished, however the comfortable bed and the sea view certainly made up for it. The fact that our room (12) was also situated next to the lift did not affect our stay. We were able to park on the road outside the Hotel (free with ticket from hotel reception) and it was just a 20 minute walk into town to enjoy the many shops, cafes, restaurants and amusement arcades. Thanks to Hugh and staff for a warm and wonderful stay. We hope to return again soon and will definitely be recommending this hidden gem to family and friends.
