Simple clean and friendly. Thats about it really. The owners and staff where all nice and friendly. The breakfast was very very nice. The view from our small but spotless room was amazing. Everything you would expect from a B and B in Scarborough. Thanks. Would stay again.

we stayed here for one night. the newly refurbished room was basic but it was clean and the sea view was beautiful. They should've sorted the toilet door maybe when they did the refurb, it didn't quite close properly. All of the staff were friendly and the cooked breakfast was really good.

We recently stayed here for two nights based on previous reviews. On arrival we were given a free parking ticket which covered us for our stay so were able to park outside the hotel. We found the owners very welcoming and helpful in recommending places to eat. The room allocated to us had a large window that overlooked the sea and surrounding areas which was absolutely stunning. The room was very clean & tidy but could do with a refurb. However this should not be classed as a negative as this did not affect our stay. We opted for a cooked breakfast on our final morning which was excellent value. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this as a good honest B&B

Room Tip: Opt for a sea view room on booking, you wont be disappointed.

the room was basic but for a family of 4 on a short stay in scarborough it was fine, and surprisingly spacious. the room was clean, well set out and 'did a job.' the cost was very reasonable and far better than a family room in a travel lodge or similar. location wise this hotel is great, stunning views from the top of north cliff bay. a few teething problems with the shower but all in all would thoroughly recommend. best of luck to the new owners who are keen to get the hotel running smoothly.

Room Tip: rooms on the front get a stunning view of the bay

We stayed in this hotel overnight on 5th July and were very disappointed. On the website it said rooms were from £39.95, and £49.95 for a premier room with a seaview and vintage furniture.
Well, we were charged £59.95 for the room which DIDN'T include breakfast, and the only things 'vintage' about it were the ancient chair with a hole in it, the stained and torn woodchip wallpaper on wall and ceiling and the faded quilt cover. The room itself was really small, about a six inch clearance between the wall and the bottom of the bed, and the windowsill was cracked and rotten.
There was a stunning seaview, and we had a decent night's sleep, but that didn't make up for the rest.

Room Tip: Choose a seaview - the only thing that was good about it.
