Richard and I can only agree with the other reviewers. Kenella House is the most welcoming, warm and wonderful place to spend your holiday in Minehead. Sandie and Steve just can't do enough for you, right down to the mint humbugs in a delightful little dish which are replaced every day. The china and lace is just an added delight to a most comfortable and easy place to stay. So all we can do is to thank them so much. This is the second year running we have stayed here and we are looking forward to our third stay!

We have just spent 4 days at this location, Kenella House Minehead. Our second visit, and it was as last time a very good experience. We could find nothing to fault. Sandie & Steve are excellant hosts, and nothing asked for is too much trouble for them to provide. The location is good, within walking distance of town & seafront, 2 minutes walk from the West Somerset preserved railway! The rooms are kept spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. We will definitely be visiting again.

Room Tip: This has a ground floor disabled friendly room.

After searching for a hour around 9pm for somewhere to stay everywhere was full, we tried kenella house. The lady was very kind and polite we stayed for 2 nights, having checked in fairly late we liked the idea of no times to be in or out. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy. Little teddy bear between the pillows, just a extra but suited the room well. Lots of little extras like mints on dressing table, hot chocolate, shampoo Conditioner etc. All adds to the homey feeling off this place. Good sized car park really appreciated that our car was safe. The breakfast were amazing very tasty and fresh. We needed directions to a place and the owners were so helpful lending us a map and told us to ring if we got lost. When we returned the bed had been made and there were clean towels and cups, nice little touch. Was a great place to stay, happy friendly and well worth the price. Definately be returning soon!!!

What can I say about this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. This is the sixth year myself and my parents have opted to stay at Kenella House for our family weekend away in Minehead. We can highly recommend the establishment. The rooms are very well appointed and scrupulously clean, I would challenge anyone to find fault with the accommodation. The thought and detail that have gone into the rooms is excellent, not only from the quality of furnishings available, but also the little touches like the fan (for those hot summer days!!), the extra blankets for the changeable British weather, cotton wool, complimentary toiletries, beverages, alarm clock and biscuits and wine glasses and cork screw. Not to mention the welcoming teddy bear! Also the thought to what furnishings to have in a late Victorian\early Edwardian establishment – no ultra modern furnishings but tasteful antiques. Once you have spent a luxurious night in the comfortable bed you are then over whelmed by the choice on offer for breakfast, fresh fruit juices, cereals, and fresh fruit just for starters followed by a choice of either a full cooked breakfast or smoked salmon and muffins. I highly recommend the full cooked breakfast which has very tasty bacon and sausages (all locally sourced). It is important not to forget to mention the Hosts, Steve and Sandy, as they are very friendly, welcoming and helpful – nothing is too much for them. Thank you to Steve and Sandy (and the teddies) for making this stay again a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed staying here - we were well-looked-after, and the position, near the sea, the railway and the town, is ideal.

I can recommend a stay at Kenella House. I stayed three nights whilst I attended the railway's Spring Gala and could not fault the accommodation. The room was well appointed and scupulously clean. Complimentary toiletries, tea, coffee and hot chocolate were provided. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was superb. After the usual offer of fruit juices, grapefruit, prunes etc., I indulged myself with the full English breakfast each day and was not disappointed. Very tasty bacon and really meaty sausages - I suspect locally sourced. All good value for money

We enjoyed our one night stay. We spent little time in the B&B as we were visiting family only a block away. This made it very convenient for us. When we asked for an extra seating at breakfast, the owners were most accommodating. Our bedroom was on the ground floor. A little crowded ( a little too much furniture) but clean. All in all a pleasant stay.
