This extremely well run YHA in the middle of nowhere, at the end of a half mile dirt track is highly recommended. It is very clean and you would be very well looked after by the staff - in fact there are only 2 of them. You are asked to remove your outdoor shoes before entering the hostel. Now that is a good idea because it keeps the carpets clean (obviously!). Its location is a beauty, there are several walks - our chosen walk was to Dunster Castle just 2 miles away over the hill with stunning views with several splendid tea shops in its nearby village. There is no TV or games room. My boys commented it made a nice change playing good old fashioned board games. Take note, their breakfast is damn good!

Wow a great big thank you to Andrew and Mouse for a wonderful 3 night stay we have just had. We stayed as a group of 11 adults and 14 children over the jubilee weekend. The hostel is so lovely and very quaint and most of all is very scrupulously clean. Andrew and Mouse never lost patients with the kids and did a great job of feeding us all.

Would highly recommend this place.

I was travelling in Southern England with my friends and we booked 3 beds for this hostel for a night. It was a little hard to find the hotel by using GPS ,but its quite normal because this hostel is situated in the middle of great nature around. Clean rooms with clean beds and sheets.A perfect kitchen to cook or prepare something to eat for yourselves and helpful staff. It is a perfect place if you would like to rest with your friends or chat in the middle of a great nature with the greenest trees and clean weather...
