Ideal camp site for family holiday. Very friendly and helpful staff, close to everything... beaches, entertainment, shops, walking areas. They do fresh bread every day, well worth it. Amenities are clean all day round, enough space for everyone. Thproughly recommended.

We came across this fantastic little campsite by luck as we hadn't pre booked a pitch. We were made very welcome and given a choice of available pitches for our small two man tent. £15 a night for the tent I thought was fantastic as the owners take great pride in their well kept facilities. Small shop on site too which was very handy. Will definitely stay again in the future.

I stayed here for a week with a group of friends and didn't want to leave!

I hadn't been camping for about 15 years and was expecting the cold, muddy experience from my childhood. How wrong I was.

The facilities were excellent; hot showers 24/7, with hair-dryers to boot! A fully equipped shop with everything you could need. Multiple water points so nothing is too far to walk to.

Julian and Marion really look after the place, and are proud of the farm's reputation for being a peaceful retreat. As such, if you intend to keep your dogs off the lead harassing everyone, and have your children playing football between other people's tents...it is in everyone's interest that you find somewhere else to stay ;)

I will definitely be coming back next year.

We've been camping at Burrowhayes for a number of years now & look forward to our visit at Whitsun every year. It's such a lovely friendly atmosphere & a great chance to catch up with friends we've made in previous years. Our daughter's still love to go every year& look forward to the first tip of the year. Julian & Marion are brilliant & we@ve never had stay yet that we haven't enjoyed. Even if the weather has been awful!

We stayed on this lovely site for a couple of nights as we wanted to try out a new folding camper without going far from home. Our telephone call to see if they had a pitch was very helpful and with a very nice friendly manner. The site was quite busy but not at all noisy and we had a nice big pitch and plenty of room. Our overall impression is that we would recommend this site to couples and families as plenty in the area for all.

The perfect place to recharge your batteries.
Peaceful, beautiful scenery, quiet area even in high season. clean , friendly site. Plenty of space around each tent, no markers but a good Julian system!

We arrived Friday 6th for our first family camping trip (tent) with a 1 year old and 7 year old in tow. Beautiful surroundings and instantly greated by friendly and helpful site owner who offered to get us anything we needed to save going into the local village.
The site and amenities were very clean and well maintained. Can't wait to book again! Thank you for making it a fantastic first camping experience!
