We have been visiting the Driftwood for many years and we keep being drawn back. It has friendly staff, great food and wonderful views making it a great place to eat. This visit to Blue Anchor was purely to visit the cafe for Sunday breakfast and as we live in Bristol you can see it's pulling power. Breakfast was excellent with a great mug of tea too. We sat and watch the tide recede before going for a beach walk. Highly recommended stop before during or after a walk.

Ideal location for light refreshments or a main meal whatever the weather. There cannot be many places which have a view like this cafe. I visit here quite frequently particularly to meet up with friends or relations. In February on a sunny day, we sat in the garden to fully appreciate the sea views with a mug of cappucino - offered the choice of chocolate or cinnamon sprinkled on the top, couldn't decide so had a bit of both. Also came in January for lunch and sampled the fish and chips which was excellent. Some may find the interior surroundings a bit austere, but it is a cafe with a warm welcome.

Came back again whilst staying on the north coast because we wanted to see if it could still be as good after two years, yes it was. Brilliant location. Attracts all kinds of folk from families who have been on the beach, dog walkers, bikers, day trippers and us. Yes the weather was splendid as was the view but the food was good too. It's a café so expect that type of cuisine but it also does catch of the day fresh battered fish and chips.
They sell a few beach themed souvenirs and cards. The facilities are very clean and I'd recommend Driftwood Café at Blue Anchor Bay to anybody visiting the area.
