The cottage where it was , was situated well amongest the shops , all in walking distance , but with the cottage it was nice BUT the upstairs toilet flush was noisey ment u couldn't flush at night as it sounded like a ship horn .
Also creaky landing floor as my youngest couldnt sleep properly , the covers on the bed needed to be bigger then the bed as now we all got colds , due to it being cold in the bedrooms , also needed another blind in the twin room as it was too light in there . And the skyline plus in bathroom needed blind for privacy .
Great location for all the local amenities. Well furnished & every amenity you could wish for. Tastefully decorated & immaculate.
this cottage had everything one could need,
it was clean, well equipped. Close to the town but quiet.
Perfect for what we wanted .

We were looking for a property to rent for a long weekend in Minehead. It needed to accommodate myself, my husband, our son, daughter-in-law and 2 year old granddaughter. We wanted to be central, be able to walk to the beach as well as restaurants/takeaways, this was not a weekend to have someone stuck in the kitchen catering. We also preferred a modern, well furnished, comfortable (and very clean) property, together with parking for two cars, preferably off road, and all of this at a reasonable cost! No, not impossible, this little Tardis-like cottage fulfilled all of the above criteria. A lovely weekend had by us all.
