“Lovely cosy well equipped cottage”
Reviewed 24 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Great short break in this lovely cottage. Cosy and quaint yet spacious and very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely garden to enjoy the sunshine in! Short walk to the town centre and a bit further to the beach. The owners provided excellent information both prior to the stay as well in the cottage, with the added bonus of a souvenir mug to take home! Would highly recommend.

“Classic cosy thatched cottage”

Well furnished and centrally heated. Genuine 16th century, but with a modern extension on the back providing new bathroom and kitchen amenities - the best of both worlds. Beautiful, colourful garden. Parking at the rear and going in through the garden was never a problem.
Described as "two bathroom", but this is stretching credibility. In reality it has one adequate, new bathroom with an excellent shower, plus a second toilet in the shed out the back (new and clean, but still outside the house). Hence the 4 star 'very good' rating. If property had been described as one bathroom plus second toilet, I would give a five star 'excellent' rating.
No regrets, though. A delightful two and a half weeks.

“A little treasure”

A lovely cosy quaint cottage with a delightful sun filled garden in quiet, older higher town. Lots of thatched cottages, narrow streets leading up to church and North Hill for great views over harbour and bay, and walks to various bits of Exmoor. We did walk to Selworthy but NT tea room closed! Check first! Superb very clearly marked walks along south coastal path eg to Porlock.

We were down for West Somerset Railway. Fantastic 7 day rover ticket for £25, bargain! Visited all locations down line, plus walks. Medieval Dunster castle and village amazing and wonderful walks round estate. Fossil hunting Doniford, Cider pubs at Watchet, plus great GWR train spotting! Try Cod n Wok for fabulous sit-in Thai food! Plus ace fish and chips!

“Walking holiday base for Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park.”

We stayed in this superb thatched cottage for a walking holiday in the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park. It was fantastic accommodation and easy to find good street parking. The old town of Minehead is delightful with many excellent pubs and restaurants nearby. A definite thumbs up for Forget-Me-Not Cottage and its tranquil and beautiful garden.

“You surely won't forget - 'forget-me-not-cottage' !”
Reviewed 19 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We used the cottage as a base for some great waking around Exmoor. Instructions to use facilities were easily explained. Short distance into town for plenty of choices for breakfast and evening meals. Lovely cosy feel after returning from a long day's walk - sitting in the garden supping an ale. Plenty of room for us three- and will hold four very comfortably.

“Super cosy cottage with everything you could wish for”

This cottage is simply superb! Forget me not cottage is very cosy and has got everything you could wish for. It's nice and warm, with a well equipped kitchen, living room, great garden and a lot of useful gadgets for children (colouring books, water colours, high chair, jigsaw puzzles, ...). Steve provided all the information that was necessary/helpful and it was easy and smooth to get the keys as well as park your car right next to the cottage. I cannot recommend the cottage highly enough to you.

“Wonderful Winter Break”
Reviewed 13 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

We used the cottage as a base for visiting Dunster by Candle Light (fantastic) and found it to be a very charming place to stay. Our arrival instructions were accurate and we were soon in the cottage having a cup of tea. The walk into town is not far but is slightly up hill on the way back . There are plenty of things to do in the area and would recommend the West Somerset Railway (Tesco vouchers can be redeemed). Given plenty of notice book the Harbour House Restaurant (weekends only) for a lovely friendly home cooked meal.
