“The usual Holiday Inn standard”
Reviewed 28 June 2012

Lovely hotel, as most Holiday Inn's always are. Cosy rooms, though not much choice for breakfast, but then we did have to be away very early, so we missed the hot stuff.

Nice view over the run way, and noise wasn't an issue at all. For some reason they advise you to take the hotel shuttle to and from the airport terminal, even though it is literally around the corner, no more than a 5 minute walk.

Only bad side, is for some reason we both had an awful nightss sleep, but we couldn't put our finger on why!

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the runway, and dont bother with the shuttle bus to the airport.

only stayed one night before flying on holiday.
clean and tidy rooms, food was good and staff were friendly. thought might be a bit noisey near the airport, but not a problem. we had breakfast in the morning which was fine but not a lot on offer. would def use this one again.

We stayed here overnight before a very early flight check in 04:00. We booked it as a package with a parking at Airparks.
This results in driving to Airparks parking which is alongside the M1, for us the other side of Luton, but well sign posted. From there bus to Luton airport and then a short bus ride to the hotel. This journey is either free or £1 each depending on which bus you catch.

The entrance to the hotel is up a very steep road, and it is here that you realise that the hotel is nearly in the airport with several jets parked just the other side of the fence.

Registration was quick and the staff excellent. We had a room for three with a double bed and sofa bed. All very comfortable and clean.

We had a bar meal, nothing special but typical of this type of hotel. A good choice and well cooked. Drinks were a little expensive.

We had a good nights sleep, even if it was quite short. Although the hotel is so close to the airport we could not hear any aircraft noise.

Reasonable value at £123.00 for one night hotel for three and 8 days parking very close to the airport. The price included breakfast but we had to check out too early.

The reception and room was totally ok for the 91.00 sterling price, and a one night stay, however we arrived at 8.30pm and ordered a fish and chip supper, it was one of the worst meals I have ever had the pleasure of eating, hard cold fish batter, dry chips and bullet peas, it was though it was a warmed up microwave job, Breakfast was not much better had to wait 15 minutes for more sausages to arrive, the best part was the toaster which worked very well, taxi service to the airport was very quick and the driver very helpful. With cases etc. I would stay again but have my meals elsewhere

Stayed here with my family to give the kids a couple of hours extra sleep due to an early flight the next morning. Booked this with Airparks parking where the carpark is a couple of miles away from the hotel and then the bus takes you to the hotel. I was not very impressed that the bus drops you on the main road and then you have to walk up some steep steps to get to the hotel, it was the same thing in the morning which I found a pain. On the positive side you are near to the airport, we got the bus in the morning but you could easily walk if you did not have children. When we arrived at the hotel was given no information about bus times to the airport had to ask, it was a quick check in. Rooms nice and clean although basic. I was amazed that you could not hear any airport traffic as you are really so close to the airport. Had a lovely meal where we all really enjoyed the food (typical pub food) Well done to the chef. The waiter who delivered the food was very attentive to the children, you order food at the bar giving your table number. We did not experience breakfast as had to leave at 5.00am but had coffee in the room. Good for 1 night stay

10 minutes walk to the airport basic rooms but very convenient rooms were £100 a night reception take quite a while to process check ins so hope you dont arrive the same time as other people as you may have to wait a while. Parking is £5 a night however you can stay parked whilst away on your travels.. if like me you away for 2 days £10 for 48 hours parking is quite cheap and convenient. There is a shuttle bus which runs from the airport to the hotel for about £1.50

Typical Holiday Inn Express Hotel but very convenient for airport - you can walk it from hotel. Check in good. Bed comfortable and a good night's sleep. However, we had an early check in and were told we could get a good 'cold' breakfast available 24 hrs as the regular cooked breakfast did not start until 6.30 a.m. This was sadly lacking - cereals and yoghurts available, but no pastries or croissants just half a sliced loaf available for toasting. Many of the tables had not been cleared. This was the only fault. If you advertise an all-night/earlybird breakfast then at least have some food and drink available.
