Booked in here for two nights, should have smelt a rat when I was asked to pay up front... Did not stay the second night (no refund) the place is simply dreadful, please please read the reviews on this so called hotel... they were putting up a sign for carvery coming soon I would suggest you avoid that as well, not sure if it met all the fire regs, tiles missing off the shower wall and were just stacked up against the base inside the shower.. be warned. I would rate this hotel as ZERO..........

Room Tip: Go for the Quality Skyline hotel in Luton.

Arrived to be shown a tiny box room with two single beds in that smelt of mildew , looked in shower to see mould growing in all crevises ,beds where nothing better than a Bench they where that hard , The Bath towels where just Rags with no nap left on them , you would not use them to polish youre car with , noticed that breakfast was allready in the room ( LAZY GITS ) a cob and a piece of butter and jam inside a plastic bag , a packet of small coco pops and 1 litre of long life milk , all of which looked disgusting , the way I can best describe the size of rooms is if someone had partitioned a large living room into 8 or 9 Bedrooms , it took just 2 mins to decide to go back downstairs and just hand the keys back and say Room not Suitable for us.
so traveled into Luton to stay at a much better place where the sheets where clean and the people realy cared about their customers it was £10 dearer but well worth the Hassle .

We stayed for one night to catch an early flight. Meal and beer OK but the room had a small window looking out onto a roof. Toilet and shower together were smaller than a caravan . The room was ugly, small and the beds awful. Worst of all was the smell of Sewage . We tried to change room but there were none available. ( Must be more stupid customers like us about!!) I have written to get my money back but to date have had no reply. ( Stayed on the night of the 4 Oct 2011. )

Room Tip: Don't even think about it.!!

This ir real English countryside hotel. One evening and night here was excellent finish before to go home after Madeira's trip. Yes, bathroom is tiny, and room is small. But our family likes a nature and walking around we saw the partridges and pheasants. I got some pictures, even through a room's window - pheasants females walked 4-5 meters from me. A pub and staff are nice, a beer and food is good.
I can't say anything about a breakfast, we leaved hotel very early to go to airport. There was two packs of cornflakes, milk, some buns and bread In a room. Of course, a coffee and a tea. So, if you have to spent one night before flight from Luton, this is good place. A way by taxi to or from airport is 10 - 15 minutes, price is 12 pounds (one way).

Room Tip: If you have a view to a field, it's great chance to see the partridges and pheasants.

I wish I had read the reviews before staying here!!
We stayed for only one night as we were due to fly to Paris the next morning, so I thought we'd just have to put up with it.
I slept fully dressed as the bed looked dirty, the mattress felt like I slept on rocks and pillows wafer thin. You had to be at least 6 foot to see in the bathroom mirror and I dirtier after washing.

The taxi they booked for us at 4:30am from 'Luton taxis' failed to turn up (despite saying the driver was on his way for half an hour) When we finally got to the airport using another firm we missed our check-in by 10 minutes, missed our flight and missed a day of our 3 day holiday to Paris.. Livid.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel..

Stayed here before a flight out from Luton airport to a football tour with 4 guys. We have stayed in some pretty grotty hostels abroad, so our tolerances are high and expectations low. Firstly it is really hard to find, particularly in the dark so do not rely on sat nav - it took us miles away. It is set in a fairly nice village and could, and should be a great option for a cheap stay before flying (around £25 each with parking) with a taxi journey to Luton only around £7 (one way).

All I can say is that when you ascend the rickety fire escape which has been boarded up with some mdf and cheap plastic your senses tell you something is wrong. The triple room is a single with 3 beds in it, with hardly any room to move. The double slightly better but benefiting from a stench from the bathroom that is indescribable (but close to human faeces). The 'continental breakfast 'was a bun and a minute croissant in a plastic bag. The windows were filthy and skirting boards and other surfaces seemingly coated in either anti-vandal grease or just black fat.

Do not stay here, even at a cheap rate you would be better setting off early from anywhere (even Scotland). You have been warned.
