“Perfect spa retreat”
Reviewed 25 June 2013

Stayed here last week and loved every minute. As soon as we arrived, the staff were so helpful. We were given a tour of the spa and facilities which were all immaculate. The gym is small but the machines were practically brand new and it wasn't very busy. The pool was lovely. The heat experience was amazing and so relaxing, even though it was quite busy we felt like the only people there. The treatments were lovely, too. Lunch and dinner was delicious (the cheesecake was to die for). The apartment was really modern and so large, it would be great for a group. The people in the apartment above us were so noisy I didn't get a greats night sleep but it definitely didn't ruin my stay. Can't wait to go back!

Went on an overnigth stay last week. The staff, premises, food, apartements and the treatments available were all fantastic. I booked an extra treament whilst there which was blissful. I would recommend this Spa to anyone and am looking forward to my next visit.

We stayed at Titanic Spa for the Saturday night as a group of 10 girls. We each had different packages in terms of the treatments but we all had the breakfast, overnight stay, lunch and evening meal. It was great value for money!
The facilities are fantastic. The Heat and Ice Experience is worth a visit alone. Really fabulous treat. A few of the girls commented that the younger girls giving the treatments were a little too chatty at some points. They were trying to relax but being spoken to about holidays and this and that. It was a little much at some points. That is really the only negative though that we found during our stay. The organisation of adding on extras to your room, itemised bills etc was very well organised. Every where you went the staff were greeting you with smiles. Made you feel very welcome!
The rooms were ghreat! We had a large one for 6 girls and another for 4. Both of them were brilliant! Really clean and the beds were really comfy. There was a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, oven etc so at tnight time we were able to take or own late night snacks to prepare :)
all in all the weekend was fantastic and the staff did a great job of making it worth every penny.

Sadly at the time we visited the outside area was under construction leaving ugly barriers and the noise of machinery which ruined the relaxing experience. There were also a few things which could really add value to the place without huge costs:

wifi - I understand that people are wanting to get away from work however wifi would be useful for downloading books on kindle or papers on iPad.

Tea and coffee throughout the day - complimentary tea and coffee was only available in the morning. There was also no provision for water in glasses (conical paper cups only) or juice.

More lounges for the pool - only 8 available leaving very few areas to sit and relax.

Option to decide where to sit in the restaurant and when to have your treatments (we weren't asked on our phone booking but I do not know if this is the norm)

Better selection of lunch buffet (chilli con carne and ratatouille were our only hot options)

All in all it seemed quite average for what was expected to be an award winning spa. The spa was very clean with welcoming staff but this is what you'd expect, it having only opened a few years ago. Treatments were expensive but were very nice.

We paid for an 'active day package' which was £129 pp including lunch and a 55min massage and 25min facial. Sadly the rotation of people through treatments and lunch though did seem a bit being put on a conveyor system. I am assuming this is why things are booked for specific times to allow the spa to gain maximum attendance. I understand the financial advantages to this however due to the lack of areas to relax in, which was exacerbated by the unsightly and noisy outdoor area, this lost the individualistic touch.

My friend and I have just returned from an over night stay at the Titanic Spa.
The food was fantastic, the apartment just how you hoped it would be and the Spa so relaxing. Look out for late deals and you can't go wrong, we will be returning again and bringing a bigger party with us after discussing how they can accommodate our needs with the staff.
Try it and you won't be disappointed.

Fabulous relaxing time had by all. Apartments lovely. And you can even take your own wine to dinner (with a small corkage fee). Food gorgeous. Will stay again. Stayed twice within 2 weeks enjoyed it so much. Check the website for excellent last minute deals.

Visited twice in May and both rooms were great. Couldn't fault them at all.
3 people visited each time, the first we got a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 twin beds. the second we got 1 bedroom with twin beds and a sofa bed. I was on the sofa bed and it was really comfy. The high windows could do with some proper curtains instead of nets, the brightness woke me up really early.
