On a mild evening mooch on the motorbike and after being turned away for food at several other places due to the time, we stumbled across this place quite by accident.
As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were struck by the friendliness of the place and were given a lovely, warm welcome.
We'd actually just arrived as the chef was about to 'clock off'. However, without complaint he told us he'd go back into the kitchen to cook especially for us and that it was no problem.
We are really glad he did return to the kitchen, as the food was just fantastic. Each dish was unique and different from the others in taste, texture and appearance. We've found very often with other tapas places, that it all comes out looking pretty much the same and tasting the same too. Not here. We couldn't fault it.
The chef turned out to be the owner and he and his wife turned out to be lovely hosts, who spent time talking to us and making sure we were comfortable and happy.
We thoroughly enjoyed this unexpected evening and we shall most definitely return again soon.
