Description: Based in the heart of the Pennines on the West/South Yorkshire border, Yummy Yorkshire makes the most delicious artisan ice cream using fresh milk from its own Holstein herd combined with ingredients sourced as close to their Yorkshire farm as possible. The innovative ice cream producer has achieved great things since it first opened its doors in 2007. Yummy Yorkshire is the proud owner of 18 Guild of Fine Foods Great Taste Awards. The farms rustic ice cream parlour has recently been extended to create a stunning new 80 seater restaurant 'The Hide & Hoof' which is stylishly decorated in keeping with the farms history with milking cluster lights and tractor seat bar stools. The ice cream parlour, 'The Parlour' has also been given an uber cool overhaul and the Hayloft seating area has been created with views across West & South Yorkshire. The restaurant and parlour are open every day from 9am until 6pm and late in the restaurant on a Saturday from 7pm with an a la carte menu.

Went with my mum and found it a charming little place. We had excellent brunch type meal. Nice mix of customers - lots of children there for the excellent ice creams, cyclists having a break, older people and family groups. Will go again.

Popped in here with our newborn baby on a quiet weekday. It was one of our first trips out with the baby; so we kind of rushed and picked our ice creams without looking at the whole menu.

The choc n ice cream cone was amazing and great value too. The sundae I had was more decorations than actual ice cream.

Will definitely return and take more time to pick ice creams.

This has to be without a shadow of a doubt one of our favourite places to visit on our family Mondays out. Mondays are so precious to us as a family (this being the only full day we get as a family) we've visited so many places and been so disappointed ..... Not here , the staff are just lovely, the food 'outstanding' and the setting so pretty .... Always something nice for the little ones too , & we are so blessed it's near enough on our doorstep- I'd highly recommend a visit but be prepared to be addicted to the home made soup & the ice creams ;0)

Our family is a frequent visitor to Yummy Yorkshire, and it's always a treat (and usually a surprise, as we survey the range of ice cream flavours on offer, some of which can be highly original!). Not cheap, but you're paying for top quality - as good as any we've had anywhere in the UK - and if you are fortunate enough, like us, to live sufficiently closely to come back again and again, you can get 'frequent buyer' cards stamped which will get you a free ice cream after so many purchases. Well worth it!

Yummy Yorkshire always provide an ice cream surprise. It's not just the same old flavours of ice cream but a large variety of constantly changing choices from Oreo cookies flavour to Casis. I tried salted caramel today and enjoyed every taste.

It's also a bistro cafe doing a great Dane in breakfast (not tried) with lunch and tea.

Very well worth a visit!
