We had a lovely 3 night stay in this stunning cottage.

You can tell a lot of effort has been put into the finishing touches here - lovely soft furnishings & extremely comfy sofas, down to trendy light fittings and taps!

The kitchen is equipped with everything you'd hope for in a self catering cottage. There is plenty of space in the kitchen itself which is really nice. Perhaps the only thing to note is there is no freezer just a freezer compartment so don't go overboard in the frozen section of the supermarket!

We only used the master bedroom but it felt nice and spacious even with a normal size travel cot which was kindly provided by the hosts. The bathroom is a modest size but is decorated nicely to maintain the luxury feel.

Perhaps my only small criticism (and this is only really as we had a small baby with us) is that the corridor lights are motion sensitive - which means that they turn on when you're trying to creep out of the bedroom at night - it would actually have been nice to be able to just turn them off completely.

All in all a beautiful place.

We had a weekend break at Swallows Nest, visiting family and a football match. The Cottage is delightfully peaceful and well positioned for exploring all West Yorkshire has to offer. We had a fantastic break and would not hesitate to recommend this charming cottage which is well equipped and extremely comfortable. Sally the owner was very helpful and accommodating – overall a super time was had by us all. Thank you.

Swallows Nest was a magnificent holiday location in every way, great accomodation, very comfortable, every detail in the cottage was first class. No hesitation about recommending it for my friends and family.
