We booked 14 Christmas dinners at £6 each...yes £6. 12 adults and 2 children on 23rd Dec 2014 and we were suitably impressed. It was £9 for 2 courses or £12 for 3 on the Christmas menu. 2 courses or more and you got a free glass of wine (not the best but free lol). The normal menu was also available. It wasn't mitchelin star but it was very good for the price. I've eaten worse for more money. It was warm and well cooked and to get all 14 out quick wasn't easy but they did it. Would definitely return to this pub. Its an old fashioned pub with ye locals propping up the bar but its nice and clean and friendly. Has ye old pool table in back room and children welcome...a gem in Huddersfield well worth a visit. Normal menu is approx. £3.50 to £3.95 and you get good portions.
