“Mystery, Imagination & Food for the Soul....”
Review of Caesar's Camp

Caesar's Camp
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

In a town blessed with beautiful views Castle Hill is literally top of the shop! Situated high on the North Downs it is the perfect spot for a picnic with some folklore and interest for all - housing the remains of a Norman Castle and Bronze Age burial mound there is plenty for the kids to explore and stretch their imaginations, whilst the jaw dropping views over Folkestone and the channel are an absolute delight, creating a feeling of space and one-ness with the universe. Which leaves the mystery as to why it is known locally as “Caesar’s Camp”? If you fancy a picnic in the country, or just a stroll on a sunny day, this really is a hidden gem.
