The Burlington Hotel is simply extraordinary. The situation, near the Leas, in front of the Channel, is wonderful. and so quiet but only a few minutes walk from Folkestone town centre.

The buidling itself is quite impressive, very huge and beautiful. Inside, there is a fabulous atmosphere, typically british.
I had the opportunity to stay several times at the Burlington a few years ago and I must say that the quality of the service is still perfect. Friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant, wonderful food served for dinner, marvellous wines and a quite spacious bedroom, very clean and cosy.
The beds are very good, for a good night sleep.
My stay at the Burlington was perfect and I'm sure I'll come back again soon. Please excuse my poor english, as my language is actually french. See you soon.

Dear Guests,
Thank you for your review and very happy to hear that your family (and the dog) had a pleasant stay at the Burlington. Being very close to the Channel tunnel and the ferry port of Dover, the hotel is an ideal base for travelling to and from the continent, and also to discover the Folkestone area. A number of events will take place this Summer like the Air Show, the folkestone Triennial and several festivals so I look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Yours sincerely

Stayed here for two nights and we were impressed by the hard working staff.
The hotel is old and it shows but it is spotless albeit a little 'tired'.
Our room was very good and surprisingly large.
The location is good as the 'Leazes' area is minutes away.
Breakfast was very good and the one evening meal we had was good.
All in all a good choice.

Rooms were big and comfortable. Beds were good. Breakfast was served downstairs and it was a bit dark. Breakfast isn't served before 07.30 and if you order warm breakfast, it takes about half an hour.

Folkestone is a hidden gem which deserves more visitors and The Burlington offers great service, location and value for money.Located just of the famous Leas with panoramic views of the channel this an ideal spot to walk off the breakfast which really sets you up for the day. The Burlington is a well keot secret, we have been twice already this year and we plan to go again with more of our family.

The room we had was very spacious and tastefully decorated - my wife even asked where we could buy the wallpaper from the feature wall from for our bedroom at home! The view over the English Channel was breathtaking, especially as the sun rose in the morning. Service at breakfast was great, nothing was too much trouble and the food was hot and delicous!

I really enjoyed our stay at the Burlington. Our room was large, comfortable and quiet and we had a lovely couple of nights there. It certainly could have done with a bit of a makeover but somehow it didn't seem to matter. I would definitely recommend. Our 'deal' included food too and that was also excellent.
