Stayed for one night and very impressed with lovely room, service and all the little extra touches. Great breakfast too.

Local Indian restaurant was fantastic too - Copper and Spices.

Good location and very easy for the Tunnel. Stayed in Love Letters room

We were fortunate to find this gem of a place just yards from the centre of Folkestone. We stayed for three nights and each night was special.

Our room, 'A Walk in the Park' was spacious, immaculate and supremely comfortable. A joy to walk into each evening. With a fantastic choice of freshly cooked food for breakfast what more could one want.

We left early in the morning on our last day to catch a train and a lovely hamper of breakfast goodies awaited our departure. Great service. This place is special.

Room Tip: Choose ours - 'A Walk in the Park'

I have just returned from a night at Stay2a and honestly cant wait to go back. Paul and Penny were away on their travels but Clive took extremely good care of us in their absence and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in 'A walk in the Park' which was huge, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and there were plenty of towels and hangers (usually my first call down to reception). There were cold drinks, fruit, biscuits, benedicts chocolates and a coffee machine in the corridor which were a very nice touch. Breakfast was cooked to order and was both huge in size and excellent in quality. Looking foward to an excuse to go back very soon.

Room Tip: We stayed in 'Walk in the Park' but also peaked at the other two rooms and all looked lovely...

Stayed here having had a delightful evening meal with work colleagues at Paul's restaurant downstairs. Obviously, the location was therefore very convenient, but more than that the quality and attention to detail was what stood out. Both in terms of the room, and also the service. After a beautiful nights sleep, i made way way down to breakfast where you could literally choose anything cooked fresh on the spot. Plus the usual selection of juices, hot drinks, cereal, toast, etc., all prepared and bought to your table.
As you can tell from the photos, the rooms are uniquely designed, and the facilities - bath, shower, bed, etc., were all excellent.
My only gripe is the lack of wi-fi. The host allows you to access the rooms even when they are not present, but not the wi-fi account it would seem ;) This was especially annoying as the EE signal was faulty at the time, so much so i even had trouble making calls (turns out a mast was broken in the area).

This place deserves every one of the 5 stars, and more. My wife and I stayed here while visiting relatives, and we were so pleased having stayed at other places locally the extra few pounds you pay over some of the local places pays back many times over.
We had the "walk in the park" room, all 3 rooms are themed ours was a silhouettes of dogs and wallpaper with tress. All the fixtures are of a high quality throughout, the bed was a memory foam mattress, and heavenly. Big bathroom with bath / shower unit, lots of lovely hot water.
Breakfast was served in the restaurant and we were offered pretty much what ever we fancied, freshly cooked to order. We had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast ... Yummy.
We stayed on a Saturday night, and so also had the Sunday carvery, another find, 6 meats, big cold buffet and the best home made desserts.
We went home happy, rested, and stuffed! Will be back again soon :0)

so happy we discovered pauls b&b by recommendation it was spotless clean, lovely room and very friendly service, The breakfast was just how we like it full english without the greece and a lovely friut salad with yogurt and paul even went to the shops for a paper for us. The lovely couple who own it gave excellent service during our stay and very hospitable, on leaving we noticed in the restaurant they was serving what looked like a very tasty calvery with a 3 meat choice, we will defiantly be returning soon and would highly recommend to others for a stay, dinner or function. thank you so much paul and penny for a wonderful stay and looking after us so well.

Room Tip: all 3 rooms

We stayed here for 1 night b&b. The accommodation is above a restaurant called Paul's which is also owned by the same couple. On arrival we were greeted by Paul himself who was busy serving in the restaurant. However he immediately guided us to a parking place behind the restaurant and even moved his own car for us to do it. He took our case and showed us to our room and gave us all the relevant information we would need. The room was spacious and modern and very tastefully decorated (art deco style). The bed was extremely comfortable, there was a large wardrobe, safety deposit box, large screen tv, writing desk and table lamp. The bathroom was also very modern and it was clear there had been a lot of money spent on the property to get it just so. There are just 3 rooms to book but they were all very modern (we had a sneaky look when empty). A really nice touch was a fridge with soft drinks and water all provided free of charge. Also coffee making facilities too. We were given our own key so that we could come and go as we please. Paul's local knowledge is extensive and he is happy to direct guests to all areas of Folkestone and beyond. We had a sumptuous breakfast with a huge choice on offer and all cooked by Paul himself. It looks like Paul will be re-locating in the near future to Hythe and if he does I am sure we will pay him another visit. Thanks Paul and good luck.

Room Tip: Only 3 rooms available and all recommended.
