I had low expectations for this place. The other pubs in the area serve watered down lager and chips - typical of a faded seaside town. The pub is on the ground floor and looks a bit rough on the outside. The restaurant on the first floor is a complete contrast. It is smart, clean and comfortable. We had a Sunday lunch, which was good. The vegetables were excellent. Price was also very reasonable - £9 for lunch. So if you are in the area of the harbour and want something better than chips, visit this place.
