One of the nice things about the Warren is that there are no shopping facilities (apart from a campsite shop where you can buy an ice cream) and limited parking. In my view, these two things deter a lot of people and help to keep the warren as it has always been - peaceful.
There's a nice little beach and you can walk below the cliffs to Dover if you have a spare couple of hours.

Visited on a very windy afternoon, but with the sun out it was still very pleasant. The are is very well kept and we chose to do some putting on a nicely maintained 18-hole course. The friendly lady in the hire shop then directed to the Warren from where we found our way to a very quiet beach. For anyone wanting an uncrowded beach (we were there Saturday afternoon with a handful of people), this is a great destination; sheltered, sand and pebbles, rock pools and great views of the White Cliffs.

Fantastic views from the cliffs of the Warren over the Channel to France. Huge area to walk from along cliff all the way to Dover. The big surprise was the unspoiled beach at the bottom of a narrow road. Big enough for a crowd, but hardly populated. Various routes to walk down to it, including a winding meander through woods. Take a picnic.

Nice cafe opened up at East cliff. Had a nice coffee and panini's. I am sure if you wanted a meal it would be good. Nice decor, happy friendly people there.

We have bend staying in Deal and we're looking for a something to do in a neighboring town that didn't involve a castle yet entertained our kids. We found it in Folkestone based on the recommendations we read here. The East Cliffs were beautiful and there was a wonderful sandy beach enjoyed by all. The bonus was the Pitch and Put course, for 3£ per person we all enjoyed 18 holes of fun overlooking the English Channel. Wonderful day"
