“Great stay, fantastic rooms”
Reviewed 13 April 2012

We have spent another night at this hotel, for convenience to the channel tunnel, and the fact it is a great hotel, and has a good restaurant attached.
This time we had a refurbished room which still smelt of fresh paint, and was immaculately clean and comfortable. I hope all the rooms receive the same makeover!
The beds are clean and comfortable, the bathroom felt very clean and staff very friendly.
I would like to know, (should there be some one from Premier Inn reading this), whether the rooms upgrades have included better sound insulation? Although, again we were unfortunate to be in a room next to the worlds loudest snorer, I think the soundproofing has improved??

We stayed here on our way to Disney so we were catching the tunnel early the next day. Great service on arrival lovely lady on the desk. Rooms as ever with premier in spot on; clean, comfortable and close to amenities.

Booked a family room, for 2 adults and 2 children, and received 1 room with a double, a single and a mattress on the floor.

Also risked eating in the restaurant, which either needed to change it';s cooking oil or learn that golden doesn't mean sepia.

I know you get what you pay for, but this is taking that to the extreme.

Room Tip: A good location for the Eurotunnel, but that's it.

Was as expected from Premier Inn perfectly fine, the only area I could fault is the the car park is not very clear when arriving in the dark on a very busy weekend.
Food was good and quickly served although the restaurant was very busy.

We used this hotel as a stopover before catching an early eurotunnel departure and it met our needs well as do most Premier Inn's. Parking was easy, reception friendly, rooms well equiped for a family and restaurant offers plenty of choice that is of a decent quality. They really have sussed out what their target market wants and deliver it in a way that is friendly and reasonably priced without cutting everything to the bone to the extent that it would feel cheap and mean spirited.

The newly refurbished rooms are nice although we could still smell the grout. The staff were helpful and provided directions to the Eurotunnel terminal which is under 10 minutes by car and easy to find. I would use this hotel again for the same reasons that I used it on this occasion.

We stopped over on our way to Disneyland Paris via the Eurotunnel. Can't fault the Premier Inn, stayed in a family room with one single bed and one double bed. Room was clean and spacious. Only fault is the food, our dinner was cold, when complained it was heated up in the microwave! Food therefore dry, hard and tasteless. We complained and received a discount off the bill, however the Manager did not have the courtesy to apologise to us in person. To top it off it was Mothers Day! Terrible service. However, because of the excellant location near to the channel tunnel we would stay in the Premier Inn again, we just wouldn't eat there!

We stopped over at the Premier Inn on our way to Disneyland Paris via the Eurotunnel. Room was very clean & spacious. Exactly what we needed. Check inn was quick.
Only bad points were car parking was limited due to some building works going on at the hotel at the moment but we managed to get a space relatively close to hotel. It was late & we had children to try & get into the hotel with little disruption, so would have preferred to have been parked closer.
And, at about 11pm it sounded as though there was a motorbike rally right outside our window, lots of revving of engines!! I know this is not directly the hotels fault, but I'm sure the reception staff must have been able to see / hear them and could have asked them to move on??
Other than that very pleased with stay.
