Staying at the nearby Sandy Balls Holiday Village. We decided to eat here. 6 of us all adults, Together with our two dogs,(which are very welcome) we walked along the B3078 Road, Footpath all the way about 15mins later we arrived to be met by about a dozen ponies and 10 cows. The ponies are very friendly the cows SO-SO. As we booked our table (recommended) the waitress took us to our table.
Drinks and food are ordered at the bar, Drinks arrived quickly, orders taken for our main meals (all different) When they arrived(all together), they were very hot with generous portions all of us found for the price this is a very good restaurant with a good atmosphere, and plenty of Dogs.
I would say this Pub knows the sort of customer he will get and caters for them.
could not fault the food, staff( Chef very hard working)atmosphere and the Location.
.

Only cater for kids if you want to be surrounded by them fine.
Meals we didn't get what we asked for staff couldn't care less food was slung at us and was very poor portions and not even cooked properly.
It's a fast food restaurant mainly not anything else.
Avoid at all costs which on the subject over priced grub.
Wouldn't even call it a menu.

We visited for an evening meal. The pub was not busy. We placed our food order the chef came to say she did not have two mushroom stroganoff. We stated we ordered beef another meal was substituted. The original still arrived as mushroom and the second meal was bulked out with onions. We visited this pub last year and were very disappointed with the meal portion
