My partner and I were out for a long walk and planning to get a bus back to Freshwater from Brighstone. The day was quite wet and we popped into Seven to grab a cuppa and some cake while we waited for the bus.
It was a quiet day, being off season at the time, but we were welcomed in and there was a lovely fire for us to dry off by. We had a cream tea each and it was excellent - the scones were really large, warm and tasty and there was plenty of jam and cream. It was also a very reasonable price which always cheers me!
The owner Carol was lovely and we had a good chat with her about the area and she was ever so helpful when we realised I had misread the bus timetable and we had missed our journey home.
We are definitely planning on going back to have a meal there sometime soon.
