We visited the island for a week & enjoyed the first meal so much that we made detours to have lunch there twice more!. The food is superb, the staff friendly & attentive and the views breathtaking. We were lucky enough with the weather to eat outside & enjoy the unspoilt panoramic views. Highly recommended.

Popped in here during a lovely holiday of superb weather (after a couple of unlucky years). We had been served on 2 of the 3 visits by a very friendly member of staff who judging by our last receipt I believe was called Dave :), could praise him for the length of this review. Thank you :). My partner had the croque monsieur, which was brought out to the clifftop garden on first occasion by a french chef who was also very friendly. The sandwich was extremely tasty with good quality non processed ham, I also never knew sweet potato fries could taste so good. The coleslaw was also excellent. Definitely worth visiting if over West Wight!

We visited the Pearl Jewellery Shop ( it is not a museum) where the displays are gorgeous and had purchased a beautiful pair of earrings which on first outing sadly one had got lost. Our return was to have lunch and buy again ( I have now got 3 ) and bought lunch which was a delicious homemade soup and crusty bed - it was lovely. The views from the restaurant were excellent highlighting the steadily eroding cliff and garden by the relentless English Channel. A nice place to take lunch and buy earrings what's not to like!
