Hunters Quay Holiday Village
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 21 July 2014

Just back from an amazing holiday at Hunters Quay Holiday Village.

We were a group of 10 and stayed in one of the lodges with a hot tub. The lodge was very spacious and clean, with everything in it that we required. The hot tub was excellent, and was situated on the deck so that it was private from the others around us.
The kids really enjoyed all the activities that were put on in the evening and during the day. Not sure what the name of the guy who did the evening entertainment was, but he was fantastic and the kids absolutely loved him!
The only downside would have been having to pay for the kids activities during the day (apart from swimming) but a small price to pay really for everything else that was there.
Would definitely come back :) .

Room Tip: Recommend a lodge with a hot tub!

Hi there,
We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your holiday and I am sure that James, our new entertainer will be happy to read that your family enjoyed his entertainment. This is only the start and next year we are planning to have even more entertainers and a packed programme.
Hope to see you back here soon

the park is very clean, and is close to the ferry, down side is the entertainment was very poor, kids activities are at an extra cost and not worth the money, swimming pool was free and the staff are excellent, there was entertainment advertised at night but was a hit and miss whither the scheduled entertainment was on as on some nights it was only music that was getting played. drink and food is expensive.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We listen to all guest feedback and act upon it and to this end, we employed 1 full time entertainer this year and the good news is we aren't stopping there. We have realised that a one entertainer is limited in what they can do, so we are looking at having a team doing it all next year which means that it will be a funpacked programme at all times.

Due to a family emergency our original holiday to cornwall was cancelled. We managed to book a cabin with a hot tub at Hunters Quay park for a long weekend.

The cabin was lovely, tidy and spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The hot tub was great and had plenty of privacy from the other cabins.

The food in the resteraunt was good, althouth the plates are a bit weird shape. The resteraunt is busy so i would advise to book in advance.

The only thing i would say about the cabin is that 2 out of 3 of our spot lights didnt work so it was dark in the hot tub at night.

I would definatley recommend the park and would love to come back for another stay.

The whole family had a great time. we hired a cabin with hot tub for the long weekend. plenty for all to do. Nice clean site with the basics on site but only a few miles into Dunoon which has supermarkets and shops.

Friendly staff, nice pool, good gym, very clean cabin and plenty of activities.

stunning views from our cabin

(I would go their for a long weekend every month if they could offer WI-FI.

The only down side to the site is internet is non existent most of the time.

running my own business requires me to have internet access yeh even on holiday.)

highly recommend this holiday park

Thank you for your feedback with regards your recent visit. Glad to hear your enjoyed our fantastic scenery.
We are hoping to have fibre optic available in Dunoon shortly and that should resolve all the wifi issues associated with rural Argyll.
Hope to see you here soon
