We only stayed one night on our way up to Loch Fyne but were made to feel very welcome with no silly rules about our dog!
The room had a sea view out of the side window and the only criticism we would have is that the fire door outside our room was very noisy - maybe needs a new spring!
Breakfast was good and the restaurant looked very popular in the evening, although we chose to wander into town for our evening meal. The walk along the prom is lovely and not too far to town.

We stayed here for a 2 night break for some time away.
I was slightly disappointed by the hotel as felt it was more B+B / Guesthouse rather than hotel.
I have not stayed anywhere like this for sometime and it took me back 15yrs. The whole place is dated and needs some TLC, it does look a little uncared for and it probably looked the same 20yrs ago.
Rooms are clean and adequate, bar and restaurant are fine and the staff were friendly.
I would not stay here again but did enjoy my stay.

I came here for a wedding and the hotel was very cosy and quaint. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely and clean. Comfortable double bed and tidy bathroom.

Dunoon is very beautiful and the hotel is very close to water where you can have a lovely walk along it.

This wee hotel was amazing (even managed to give us a room with a smile when my booking skills had failed me). We've stayed at a few places in Dunoon and this was definitely the friendliest, nothing was too much for the staff especially Jill. The food was delicious (best cockaleekie soup I've ever tasted)and the chef seemed really keen to ensure dietary requirements of guests were met. The room
wasn't roomy but perfectly adequate for a weekend and the shower was powerful & hot. Will definitely be back.

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was a good experience.

The hotel is a bit dated but was compensated by the very friendly staff.

The chef David was particularly great - very talkative and gave some good suggestions for attractions.

The second night we had dinner in the hotel and the food was excellent - easy the best burger I've had in a long time. Fresh and clearly made from scratch.

Overall a great stay.

We stayed here last year after summer for one night as a stop off, we arrived late night and so unfortunately missed dinner but we were still greeted with a friendly smile. The room was lovely and definitely worth the price, perhaps some work on the bathroom would be a suggestion though (nice but small) shower was great though!
Breakfast in the morning was nice although we did feel a bit forgotten about and unattended in a back function hall without a member of staff in sight.
Overall good stay, will consider again if passing through,

Room Tip: Front facing room was lovely
