what a wonderful place to stay, pity it was only for one night but shall definitely
recommend it to everyone.
I live nearby and was staying with my friend in the Gull room overlooking the loch. superb!!
lovely décor and ambiance, Richard was so attentive with a glass wine in our room and
everything was so well appointed . the beds very comfy and the shower was very powerful, just wonderful.
we were shown round the rest of the house in the morning after a delicious breakfast. definitely the best B&B !!
thank you!!
we went to 'Chatters' for dinner another excellent choice.

Room Tip: the heron room and gull room have sea views but all are well appointed. very quiet and sunny.

We stayed for a night having read the excellent reviews and were very pleased. Our host Richard was charming and made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and the view over the loch stunning both in the rain during the evening and at sunrise in the morning. Breakfast was good too. Would happily stay again. The plumbing in Gull room was a bit noisy but made up for by the beautiful sunrise.
Richard was able to guide us to find an evening meal and gave us very helpful advice regarding the ferry crossing which saved us quite a bit. If using the ferry it is cheaper to buy tickets from shops selling them in the town beforehand rather than on board.

i made an enquiry on anchorage b&b website, for availability of rooms, and they took it as an actual booking this i misleading to the public as they do not contact you by e-mail to confirm if there is rooms available so beware when making enquiries, i am not a happy person

Such a beautiful location and charming hosts, we had Heron Room and spent quite a lot of time watching the heron from the bedroom window, along with Curlews and Oystercatchers , not to mention the the gannets putting on a great show in the mornings. The decor is perfect with excellent prints on the walls, large comfy bed and Molton Brown toiletries, a great touch. Breakfasts excellent. Dunoon itself disappointing, very neglected and looked shabby , even on a sunny day. The local pub was ok and generous with the helpings, but we went farther a field to Inverary and Loch Fyne for good food . Wifi available and our hosts were helpful when I could not connect . Thank you so much to Richard and his wife for making us so welcome .

Room Tip: I am sure that all the rooms are equally good but the view over Holy Loch from Heron room is superb.
