“Simple but perfect for a quick bite”

Right next to the Tourist Information office, this comfortable, clean cafe serves tea, coffee and decent selection of cakes, just when you need to rest your legs.

“Relaxed, friendly but a bit pricey”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 May 2014 via mobile

Frequent here often for coffee with friends. It can be quite expensive if you have a cake/bacon roll along with the coffee.
Having said that you never feel rushed to finish up and leave.

“Best coffee in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 March 2014

Always a good atmosphere with friendly staff and excellent coffee. Freshly baked scones daily and made to order baked potatoes just added to the lunchtime menu. Great homemade soup too.

“Coffee after dark!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2014

This was a welcome find after a lengthy journey to Dunoon. Open til 9pm, it was great to get a coffee and a sandwich on a rainy February night. Cafe was pleasant enough, staff were polite and friendly. However, I did find it expensive, paying what I'd expect for two main meals for just coffee and sandwiches.

“Not a bad wee place to have a natter”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 February 2014

It lacks the homely touches and is a little bland in decor, but it is welcoming in as much you aren't rushed to finish your drinks. The cakes are a little bland and boring which is a shame as homemade would make a huge difference to this place, ditto the sandwiches in the cooler are very boring - white thin sliced with very bland flavour.

Ive not tried the fresh cooked but have been told that its not too bad at all.
The local knitting group meet here Monday nights and Tuesday Mornings and you will find a warm welcome with the ladies
