The lunch menu is a complete bargain at around £7. The food was excellent, service attentive and even the wine prices are very reasonable. It does state on the menu that you can bring your own wine and they charge no corkage. The decor is lovely, the place was very clean and tidy, as were the staff and the toilets were very good indeed. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Brilliant and living on the Isle of Bute, I will be back.

We ordered takeaway from here, we were staying in nearby Inellan, and it was excellent, big portions and very tasty biriani. Reasonably quick delivery and still piping hot when we dished it up.

Sadly to say standards are slipping have reviewed before as excellent . Over an hour for first course had to look for waitress to be given drinks, napkins and even cutlery and never came near to offer an excuse of the long wait. Restaurant wasnt busy complained to manager who did offer a complimentary drink and sweet we were told it was the amount of carry outs the kitchen couldnt cope. Sit in guests should have been served first and phone orders should have been advised of a delay as it is not only a carry out. The meal was fine no complaints there but seems to be under new managent and manager nowhere as good as old one very young and has a lot to learn but will visit again hopefully a shorter wait

We were on our way to Benmore Gardens and decided to have lunch at Bangladesh Tandoori.
We went there because we had read about the restaurant on the Internet and so many people
were recommending it. We were a bit early and the restaurant had not yet opened, but the manager told us to come in and have a seat in the lobby. We were very pleased with the warm welcome. Later we had lunch and asked about the pompdoms that somebody had mentioned
on tripadvisor. They really were delicious. Since we don't have so many Bangladeshi restaurants in Germany, we were not quite sure what meal we should choose on the menu. Milon, the manager, recommended the dishes and they proved an excellent choice. Everything was fresh and savoury. It was definetely one if not the best meals we had in Scotland.
