This is the not the run of the mill b and b accommodation - our room had several individual features. I am sure everyone will have a story to tell about their stay here. Staff very helpful and friendly - room clean and comfortable - excellent breakfast. A great place to stay before embarking on the Offa's Dyke Path.

Location is excellent, close to river and castle. Parking on site. Very friendly landlady and good choice of local ales. Rooms very old and quaint but check to make sure you have one of the en suite rooms. Breakfast was excellent and could not fault the personal attention. Would use again for next overnight in chepstow

Myself and my partner stayed at Three Tuns for my birthday for Badminton Horse Trials. The place was quirkly, clean and delightfully lovely. Debbie cooked a great breakfast and was beyond doubt a warm and welcome host. I would recommend this place if you have huge character and are seeking something out of the ordinary.

Room Tip: Pick the double room with the separate bathroom.

Went here for Sunday roast - choice of beef or pork. The pork comes with no crackling (the piece of pork I had had some rind on it that looked more like it had been boiled than roast). Sweet potatoes, carrots and creamed leeks and cabbage were all good, as were the Yorkshire puddings. However, the roast potatoes were truly awful - I think these may have been reheated from an earlier day. For the price, not bad: as a culinary experience, I'd look elsewhere.

The Three Tuns is in a wonderful location, being situated at the foot of Chepstow Castle and a short stroll away from the picturesque bridge crossing the River Wye.
The beer garden over looks the castle and is a stunning backdrop!
We had a lovely evening meal cooked by Debbie, who seems to do most things, including the yummy breakfasts, bar and room making! Always with a smile on her face.
Chepstow is a small town but the surrounding areas have alot to do and see, and it is an ideal spot located near motorway links.

Room Tip: we had room 3, twin beds, but very close together, with small en-suite. situated on front side.

We stayed here for one night and really liked the quirkiness and cottagey feel. The rooms and the garden have views of the castle behind the pub. We had the room next door to the pub. As there was a band playing (who were very good) on the Saturday night, we did not eat in the pub, but the breakfast was fab. Chepstow is not far from Tintern Abbey which we also visited.

Room Tip: The upstairs rooms may be a little quieter. The room next to the pub is right on the road so is noi...

We put away several of their selection of draft ales last Friday night, pleasing to see a selection of good beer and not the usual brands you find in most pubs. Nice garden, fine for late evening, and views of the castle in the day.
