Awesome place! The outside of the cottage looks a bit different than the picture because the owners have just painted the exterior and removed a couple trees from the front of the house (which makes it look more open)...It was a perfect spot for us because we took day trips to the South, East, and West of Ireland during our stay and being able to come back to the cottage made it feel more like 'home'. Easily could sleep 6; the towns of Cahir and Bansha are both just a few minutes away each have great Pubs/eateries/church/clinic/stores; both are very cute towns!

This was my first trip to Ireland, and I wanted it to be the best experience ever. Coopers Cottage was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Charm, Character, Quiet, Country cottage. If it is quiet that you are after, the cottage has it! If you are after scenery, you've got it! if you want a great location to sightsee from, its the best. Eamon and Stella are WONDERFUL hosts, and lets not forget Murphy the greeting dog. :) Eamon delivered scones fresh from the oven our first morning, warm and delicious. Eamon is a wealth of information when it comes to things to see. Our little cottage is perfect for a romantic get a way or honeymoon spot. Warm, inviting, and a great place to sit in front of the fire with a bailey's coffee. I highly recommend the charming, quaint country cottage to anyone wanting the perfect place to explore the Irish country side!

I stayed in Coopers Cottage with my family for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year.
It was very cosy and had everything that was needed. Our hosts Stella & Eamonn were there to greet us on arrival and had lit a warming fire in the fireplace for us!
They pointed out all the necessities around the house and outbuildings, left instructions on what was available locally and some welcome chocolates (which were quickly eaten).
Great place to relax and unwind. If you like reading there is a book collection and if you like walking there are guides on walks in the nearby area.
The cottage is old with a lot of original features this limits some of the space in the rooms, but this gives it character and is nicely decorated, furniture is comfortable and fits well.
Make yourself feel at home, while taking in all the sights and sounds of County Tipperary!!!

Room Tip: The rooms closest to the living room where the fire was were the warmest.

Five adults (2 couples and a single) enjoyed almost a week at Coopers Cottage. We went exploring the area every day, taking in three of the surrounding counties. We were most comfortable and found Stella and Eamonn to be gracious hosts. The cottage is well equipped and perfect for self-catering in an awesome setting. A great spot for exploring a stunning piece of Ireland.

We rented Cooper's Cottage along with Rathellen House on a one week self-catering basis. We expected a lot from seeing the photos online, but when we arrived we were blown away by how perfect this little cottage is. If I could move in, I would, in a heartbeat! The rooms are appointed beautifully and there is a nice fireplace for those awesome peet fires! The kitchen is small but worked wonderfully for our group of 6. You can't beat the location which has a spledid view of the Galtee Mountains from the back porch. One of the best things about Cooper's Cottage is the family who owns it. They are absolutely lovely and some of the nicest people we have ever encountered on vacation. THey are accomodating and have wonderful tidbits of info about the surrounding area. This is a hidden gem and anyone who finds it has definitely found a pot of gold!
