“Great for weddings in Kilshane House”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

I stayed here with a group of friends and Marion and Bob were extremely helpful and kind. We were given soup and sandwiches on arrival and a hot brandy before Marion dropped us up to the hotel and gave us the name of her taxi guy to pick us up later that night. She also dropped me back up the next day - free of charge. They were very kind hosts and I would definitely recommend staying here if attending a wedding nearby. Thanks again Marion and Bob! :)

A group of five of us stayed at Aisling B&B. It was a fantastic night. The hosts, Bob and Marian, gave us soup and sandwiches on arrival, dropped us to Kilshane House (in two trips),gave us the number of a local taxi driver and let us know that if anything happened and we needed them we could just ring them no problem and they would collect us. There is no rush to get up for breakfast either which is handy if you're sleeping off a hangover! They were beyond hospitable - it's the friendliest B&B I've ever stayed in. Space for parking and Marion dropped my friend to meet someone the day after too. Electric blanket was on when we got back too! Fab place, fab people, fab price!

I was nervous travelling alone with my young children but as soon as I arrived Marion put me right at ease and the children rated this bed and breakfast as 5 star! Very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely. The beds were very comfy. Thoughtful hosts.

As an ex pat living in Barcelona, I'm glad to see the famous Irish hospitality is not a thing of the past. Marion was a truly fabulous host to my wife and I during our stay. The room was lovely and the breakfast superb, but it was the warm welcome provided by both Marion and bob that really stole it for us. The only place to stay.

What can we say, Marion couldn't have been more accomodating or more helpful if she tried. Lit a lovely fire for us, helped out with directions, taxis and offered to collect us if ever we needed a lift. Breakfast was plentiful, above and beyond the call of duty. My only, I hope helpful comments is that the much of the place needs a really good spring clean. Parts and corners of the house seemed to not have been lived in for 10 years of more. However for the price, location and service it was over all good value for money.

I had a nice experience at Aisling B&B. First the room was really nice and the house was cozy. The breakfast was good as well with somewhat like a 1000 different breakfast cereals and of course, a full Irish breakfast.

But it's not because of that Aisling B&B stands out. Generosity and engagement doesn't seem to be enough to describe the couple that runs the hostel. They really want you to feel like home and are doing that extra small things to make you have pleasant stay! On top of that it's always nice to have a chat with the locals when you are traveling. I will not forget this place!

Attended a wedding with friends in Kilshane nearby. Stayed in this B&B. Booking was straightforward, Marion the proprietor was very helpful. She offered to drop us to Kilshane which is was generous. Rooms were good, all necessaries there. Breakfast was good, and prepared according to when we got up. Marion and her husband were very welcoming, couldn't have been more helpful. I must compliment their attention to service.
