My husband and I had a fantastic 4 days at this B&B. It is a family business, and you soon begin to feel like a treasured visiting family member. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The surrounds are lovely and peaceful and for a rip roaring night with the locals there is always The Forge for a meal, the locals and of course the mandatory drinks. The B&B is clean and comfortable and the room we had spacious with a very clean ensuite. Fabulous place, fabulous time to be had and we hope to return one day.

Our group of seven female travellers stayed for four nights recently at Ballyglass Country House.
We can't thank Ballyglass enough for their hospitality and service during our stay.
Ruth, our host, was extremely warm and friendly and provided us with invaluable tips and ideas about day trips, walks, and places to visit around the local area.
The rooms were spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and had gorgeous views of the countryside.
Breakfasts were delicious and we had the choice of several cooked meals, muesli and home-made fruit salad.
You mustn't miss "The Forge Bar" next door which is open from about 7pm every night; here they serve a range of seasonal meals for dinner (my favourite was the vegetarian crepe) and have a large selection of beer and wines.
We truly felt like members of the family while staying here and had enough space to relax and enjoy our holiday. An added bonus was the wi-fi connection that allowed us to upload our travelling pics!
Highly recommended :)

I recently stayed at Ballyglass in a group of seven, we had the most fantastic stay in this beautiful place, the hospitality was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. Ballyglass accommodated our large group, they provided tasty breakfast and dinner and accommodated our unusual schedule, assisted us with booking horse riding and gave us great advice on places to visit in County Tipperary. Ruth and family made us feel very welcome, we had a great stay, excellent value for money. I would highly recommend Ballyglass to anyone looking to visit Tipperary.

Room Tip: Ballyglass will accommodate all.

We stayed here for only one night, having an evening function to go to in Tipperary town. Nothing was too much trouble for the family. They served up an early evening meal of nice fish abd chips and a quality home-made burger (locally-sourced beef) in the drawing room with no fuss and had sandwiches ready for us in the pub when we came back that night.

The pub is a converted forge just beside the big house so it has lots of old-world atmosphere and is popular with locals. The rooms in the big house are very reasonably priced, very clean and comfortable (our room had a nice view of the glen of Aherlow) and the house is beautifully decorated. Top-notch breakfast and the mother and daughter team that looked after us were warm and friendly, full of wit and funny stories. We want to go back to stay longer!
