I can't believe that this restaurant/pub is not yet on Tripadvisor! This was one of the best pubmeals we had when visiting the UK, and at least for us as Swedes the prices were very reasonable.

We visited this place 2 times, the first time in the end of July and the second in the beginning of August, both times were equally good. Apart from the normal menu they also have special offers, we ordered burgers for only 4 pounds with soft drink and chips included. My husband said that the chicken-wings he ordered were the best he had ever had, and among the best food he'd eaten since we arrived in the UK.

This is not the fanciest of restaurants, you have to pick a table, remember the number on the table and then order by the bar. But on the other hand food arrived real quick, even when there were a lot of people in the restaurant.

You have to remember that it is a pub, though, and the environment is perhaps not the best for young children, but both times when we were there (one lunch and the other evening) it was quite calm and not too loud.

If you visit before the sun sets I can really recommend you to sit outside, the restaurant is close to a bigger road, but also to a nice, small park.

The staff was real friendly.
