Enjoyed the trip into the cave. The guide was very informative and obviously interested in his job. The access was good for most abilities. A good and informative visit.

One of the better caverns I've visited in Derbyshire. Very open and not at all claustrophobic. Very knowledgeable and passionate guide who made an effort to make it interesting for younger children. Coffee Shop served nice food at a reasonable price.

The Cavern was full of history and the Guide was very good. The country park was also a very nice place to walk around, but I would not recommend it if you have difficulty with steps and slopes.

Pooles Cavern was something we had talk about for a while and we were not disappointed. Our guide was very knowledgable and happily answered any questions. The tour was approximately 45 minutes our guide keep the tour interesting with facts and history. Just remember to take a jacket and it is quite cold in the cave and you will get dripped on but that's all part of the experience. You can take a picnic lunch as there are tables and benches or there is always the cafe. There are walking trails in the park and you can take your dogs into the park. Loved it will definitely go again.
