“Enjoyable visit to the Cavern.”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

We went for a family visit to the cavern. The tour was really interesting and engaging with a tour guide who was friendly and knowledgeable. The children (aged 6 years) enjoyed the cave tour which wasn't too long for them.

Overall, good value for money (family ticket £25) and an enjoyable trip.

“Excellent well worth a visit”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with a quirky sense of humour. The cost at £9 pp was good value for money and provides a 12 month entrance fee.

“Interesting and stunning”
Reviewed 18 August 2014 via mobile

A really fascinating cave tour with some spectacular calcite formations. Guides are knowledgable and lively.

Might have to queue for tickets for a while at busy periods as there is only one ticket desk, but the tours are every 15 minutes so once you have your ticket there's no waiting.

“So good I joined”
Reviewed 14 August 2014

Really impressed with the whole experience. The caves and the geology are amazing. The guide was incredibly keen and informative. Followed by a quick coffee before the walk topside to Solomons temple for stunning views.
If you think you might go on a regular basis then the civic association who run the whole site have a membership which is worth looking at- I definitely plan on going back when the river is running but no matter what time of year take a coat!
