Beautiful gardens, worth strolling through. The Pavillion itself has a lovely cafe and gift shop. There was an Art exhibition when we visited.

Visit on a Sunday during the summer and enjoy the band concert. The gardens are beautiful and if you have children there is a great playground and also a miniature train ride.

Stopped off here to refuel after a walk around the pavilion gardens. Lovely coffee, if slightly over priced- think Starbucks prices! Service was slightly distracted but that could have been because it was very busy as there was a afternoon tea dance about to start. Tables outside are much less cramped than the inside ones which seemed rather close together.

Well maintained, a lovely place for a walk away from the bustle of Buxton. Good café and car park on the edge of the gardens, all the facilities you would want.

I'm sure this used to be a lovely place but the decor is now tired, the heating is on (it's June!) and I've just had to pay extra to get milk with my coffee
