A lovely walk through these gardens, riverside walks, pretty bridges, a play area and ride on miniature train for children, and the indoor glasshouse has some stunning tropical plants.

Gorgeous dog friendly park. Refreshments available. Art and craft gallery on site.
Would have liked an inside dog friendly area in the basic cafe. Other cafes are accommodating

Even though it was raining, the gardens were well maintained and laid out. The Pavilion itself was very good with a cafeteria and craft shops with specialist food and drink.

Beautiful grounds and lovely place to eat with on-going art exhibitions/local information. Frequent events too, such as antique fairs or farmers' markets. Great place to include in a visit to the area.

Lovely Park for families and general public with lots to see, train ride and events in the Pavilions too including Art and craft fairs. More secluded and wild garden area of park across the road from the main park. Easy walking distance from main shopping area.
