My wife & I called in to Charlotte's for a light lunch attracted by it's cool, quirky style. We were instantly greated by friendly staff and shown to our seats. We ordered our food, I had a steak and onion baguette and my wife fancied the fish finger sandwich and we shared a large bowl of hand-cut chips, during the short period for the food to arrive we took the time to admire the 'Alice in Wonderland' inspired decor and enjoy our drinks. The food was just what we needed, it was all very well presented and tasted great with plenty enough to fill us up. We then ordered a vanilla scone, with clotted cream and jam.. it was served still fresh & warm and I we must say it was the best scone we have ever tasted, it was divine.
When we got the bill they also left us 2 lovely heart shaped chocolates, the price was also really good at just over 20 pounds.
This topped off what was an all round fantastic weekend around Buxton and we cannot wait to visit Charlotte's again, hopefully next time the weather will be good enough for us to chill on the roof terrace!
