“An immaculate apartment, good location.”
Reviewed 2 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

The owners were immediately friendly and welcoming. There was a pint of milk, orange juice, flowers, bottle of wine and cream cakes waiting for us. This was a kind gesture and very welcome so we didn't need to go out straight away. Really comfy bed, warm and cosy apartment, immaculately clean throughout, with pretty much everything you could ever need (especially in the kitchen). Only takes about 20 minutes to walk right into Buxton centre. This place is highly recommended as a great base for relaxing or walking in the lovely surroundings. Thanks very much Sue and Steve :-)

Reviewed 8 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

This apartment is really well placed. About 20 mins walk from central Buxton placed on a quiet street.

Access- there are some steep steps up to the apartment which can be a little slippy in the rain. Once in the apartment it is all on a level.

The apartment is really well equipped and warm. Towels are provided as is washing up liquid, tin foil etc. It really makes the apartment home from home especially with the bottle of wine left in the living room.

Only slight negative was that the boiler packed in whilst we were there so no hot water on the last morning which meant the 10am checkout was tight. Nothing that the owners could do about it at such short notice however. These things happen.

We would happily stay here again. It is a very well equipped high quality apartment.

“Excellent Accomodation”
Reviewed 4 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This is lovely Accomodation just on the outskirts of Buxston - about a 20 minute walk into the centre of town with our 8 year old. The apartment is clean, modern and well equipped - had everything we needed for our holiday. There is a nice balcony with double doors off of the living room. There is access to a big garden (shared with the owner). There was lots of space in the garden for our 8 year old, who also fell in love with the owners chickens andvery friendly Labrador! The owners, Steve & Sue, were friendly and welcoming. Would definately recommend this Accomodation.

What a fantastic gem, Templemore was a perfect base to explore the Peak District. A beautiful apartment set in beautiful surroundings, with great hosts, Sue and Steve are really nice people, (we also loved the chickens and poppy!) The apartment has briliant facilities, this was truly top class self catering. We will definitely be booking again next year.

“Outstanding Accommodation with great setting”

This has to be one of the best self catering holidays I've had. We had a lovely week in Buxton. Sue and Steve are lovely people who have a really nice apartment. The setting is perfect being easy walking distance to the town centre, about 25 minutes to the station.

The apartment has a lovely lounge with a very pleasant balcony and a comfortable sofa. The double bedroom is quite small but charmingly furnished. There are lovely fresh flowers in the living room and everything is accessorised very tastefully. The bathroom is very clean and the apartment overall contains everything one might need for a comfortable stay.

Sue also provides fresh eggs from her own hens which are delicious and flavoursome.

I would definitely recommend the place and would want to stay here again.

“A great base from which to explore the Peak District”

As soon as we walked into the Templemore apartment we knew we loved it, it has all been recently refurbished to a good standard and is clean and lovely everywhere. The owners very kindly left us 'welcome' gifts of wine, cakes, eggs (from their own chickens), milk and orange juice.
The apartment has everything you need for a self-catering holiday, including a parking space. We cooked most evenings and found all of the appliances excellent and easy to use.
Buxton is a good base for a Peak District holiday and seemed to be quite central to the areas we wanted to explore.

We've just returned from a wonderful week in Buxton @ Templemore Apartment, we would have stayed longer, if we could.
At the top of a gated, gravel drive, with allocated parking, the apartment is modern, but homey, small but not pokey & very easy to keep clean & tidy.
Wine, tea & coffee, milk, fresh eggs & cream cakes were provided by Sue & Steve to welcome us. They were there for any problems (none!) & information throughout our stay.
The well equipped kitchen meant we didn't have to eat out every night, but there are loads of reasonable, local eateries & watering holes if you do. (The Cheshire Cheese, 53 degrees North, Lonestar & Michaelangelos Italian were all good & not too extravagant)
There is plenty to see & do, both in Buxton (15-20 mins walk) or the surrounding area. Chatsworth is less than an hour away & there is local countryside at the bottom of the hill.
If you don't want to venture out, the balcony overlooks the garden & has the sun for most of the day, or you are welcome to use the garden areas. You may get to share with Poppy (the Labrador) &/ the chickens. (who provide very nice breakfast eggs :-) )

A lovely week & we may well be back.......
